What it does

Makes a sound wider without it disappearing on a phone or a club system. The middle stays exactly where it was, so when your track gets played in mono nothing goes missing.

How to use it

Put it on pads, synths, guitars or backing vocals, not on your kick, bass or lead vocal. Turn it up until the sound spreads out to the sides, then check it in mono with the bypass: it should still be all there.
