Inside GOAT PIXEL
Lo-fi with a floor under it
What it does
Makes a sound feel sampled, old or broken. A little adds grit and texture, the middle sounds like an old sampler, and the top quarter is a dark, crunchy crush. The bass stays solid so the beat still holds together.
How to use it
Put it on drums, a vocal chop or a synth. Turn it up slowly and stop when the character is right: around a quarter for a lo-fi feel, half for sampler grit, full for a crushed effect. If it's too much everywhere, use it on a copy of the track instead.
