GOAT BLOOM

Inside GOAT BLOOM

Body, warmth and presence

What it does

Makes thin sounds big. A weedy synth gets body, a thin vocal gets warmth, drums keep their snap but lose the harsh edge. It doesn't turn things up, so what you hear is richer tone, not just more volume.

How to use it

Drop it on any track that sounds small or thin. Start at SEED for a touch of warmth, go to SPROUT to fill it out, BLOOM for full weight. Compare with the bypass button; if it's too much, turn the blend down so some of the original stays in.

Under the hood

• Three-band transient shaping
• Sustained-body saturation without automatic makeup gain
• Oversampling and antiderivative anti-aliasing
• One main control, plus parallel mix
