Terms & EULA.

These terms are an agreement between you and CIMA AUDIO LLC, doing business as GOAT Audio Labs ("we", "us"). By buying, downloading, installing or starting a trial of a Plugin, you agree to them.

The Plugin is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, GOAT Audio Labs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased software ("Plugin") for personal and commercial music production, on up to two computers that you personally own and operate at a time.

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the Plugin, your license key, or your download link; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise analyse the Plugin’s code or binaries, whether manually or with automated tools (including AI systems), except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction; use any information obtained in breach of this section to create, or to help anyone create, a product that reproduces the Plugin’s functionality or sound; remove proprietary notices; or use the Plugin in any way that violates applicable law. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under EU or UK law to observe, study or test how the Plugin works, or to decompile it where that is needed to make it work with other software.

The Plugin and all associated intellectual property remain the property of CIMA AUDIO LLC. Your license grants usage rights only.

Trial codes grant a 14-day, full-featured license on one machine per email address per product. Trials may not be renewed by re-registering. A trial is a license under these terms: by downloading, installing, or starting a trial of a Plugin you agree to this agreement in full, including the Restrictions above, which continue to apply after the trial ends.

Each license works on two computers at a time, and you can move it between your computers from your account page. The Plugin needs an internet connection to activate and checks in from time to time to keep the license current. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the licenses it bought are deactivated.

Some bundles include plugins that are still in development. You get each one, at no extra cost, when it is released; we do not promise release dates. If we stop developing a plugin you bought in a bundle, contact us and we will refund its share of what you paid (the bundle price divided by the number of plugins in it).

We may release updates at our discretion and reserve the right to determine their content, timing, and availability.

We do not refund for change of mind, because every Plugin has a full free trial for evaluation. If you experience a technical issue we cannot resolve, contact support@goataudio.co and we will work with you. This does not affect your rights under the consumer law where you live if a Plugin is faulty or not as described.

If you live in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that right ends once delivery starts with your agreement: at checkout you ask us to deliver your license straight away and acknowledge that you then lose the right to cancel. This does not affect your rights if the Plugin is faulty or not as described.

Plugins can make audio much louder very quickly. Turn your speakers and headphones down before you load or change a Plugin, and keep a limiter on your output. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for hearing or equipment damage.

The Plugin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use is at your sole risk.

In no event shall GOAT Audio Labs be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Plugin. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived or limited by contract. The disclaimer and limitation of liability above apply only as far as the law where you live allows.

You may not buy, download or use a Plugin if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region under comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or if you are on a U.S. government list of restricted parties.

This license is effective until terminated. We may terminate it if you violate these terms, after which you must destroy all copies of the Plugin in your possession.

Most problems are fixed fastest by emailing support@goataudio.co. Before either of us starts a legal claim, we each give the other written notice describing it and 60 days to resolve it informally.

If that does not work, any claim is resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, which set out the fees we pay. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either of us may go to court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

Claims may only be brought individually, never as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated or representative action. If that waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court rather than arbitration.

You can opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@goataudio.co with your name and the email address you use with us.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court case these terms allow is brought in the state or federal courts located in California. If you live in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts, and the arbitration section does not apply to you. If you live in Quebec, the arbitration and class-waiver parts of the Disputes section do not apply to you.

We may update these terms. We post each new version here with its date and email customers about important changes. A new version applies to purchases and trials after it is posted, and never to a dispute either of us has already given notice of.
